Özet

Amaç: Empatik eğilim, yaşam doyumu ve mesleki benlik saygısı, sağlık çalışanlarının sunduğu hizmeti etkileyen önemli kavramlardır. Bu çalışma tıp fakültesi, hemşirelik fakültesi ve sağlık meslek yüksekokulunda öğrenim gören Türk askeri öğrencilerinin empatik eğilimleri, yaşam doyumları ve mesleki benlik saygıları arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca sağlık eğitimi alan öğrencilerin empatik eğilimleri ile yaşam doyumları arasında mesleki benlik saygısının aracılık rolünün olup olmadığı da araştırılmıştır.

Gereç-Yöntem: Araştırmaya %95,3 anket katılım oranı ile 870 Türk askeri sağlık öğrencisi katılmıştır. Hipotez edilen yol modelini incelemek için veriler SPSS 23 ve AMOS 24 programları kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.

Bulgular: Katılımcıların %61,3'ü erkek, %38,7'si kadındı. 870 katılımcının 439'u tıp, 323'ü hemşire ve 108'i meslek yüksekokulu öğrencisiydi. Araştırma modeli veri uyum indeksi değerlerinin kabul edilebilir sınırlar içerisinde olduğu görülmüştür.

Sonuç: Sağlık eğitimi alan öğrencilerde empatik eğilim, yaşam doyumu ve mesleki benlik saygısı düzeyleri yüksektir. İncelenen değişkenler arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki vardır. Empatik eğilim ile yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkide mesleki benlik saygısının kısmi aracılık rolüne sahip olduğu bulunmuştur.
