A qualitative research on the LinkedIn shares of health managers in the Covid-19 process

Aim: Covid-19, which has become a global problem, appeared in Vuhan, China. This rapidly spreading virus called Covid-19 has become a pandemia. In this pandemia process, which affects the whole world, the impact of social media on people has been quite significant. Misleading information can be easily spread as well as informative posts on social media. In this study, it is intended to determine how Linkedin shares are affected and on which categories are shared during the coronavirus process. Materials and Methods: Within the
scopeof the research, the shares related to coronaavirus made by 5 users between 9 March 2020 and 17 May 2020 were examined on a weekly daily date. It has been reviewed according to sharing topics, the message they contain, the date ranges they are shared with, and the way they are shared. Content analysis technique was used in the
examination of these shares. Results: A total of 1094 shares made by 5 health manager users were examined in the study. The number of shares made about coronaavirus is 584. Conclusion: As a result of the research, posts belonging to the categories of productivity, efficiency, precaution and cooperation are found the most. Then, the risk group,
business process, technology, treatment research, health economics and spread categories were given. These shares are mostly formed in the form of likes. Linkedin is a social business network. Emphasis should be on business process, productivity and business.
